Exciting Valentine Day Ideas

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, there are great ways that you can keep the love alive in your relationship. This advice is not just for Valentine’s Day lovers, but for long lasting and meaningful relationships for years to come.

Remember the newness of your relationship? How you got flutters in your stomach when they walked in the room? Then you can literally feel that same magic every time you touched them, all the while your face lit up with glee.

This is how you should feel all the time, when you are around them. Who would want it any other way? There are times when you may not be able to feel that, but there are things that you can do to bring the love alive again. Here are some tips for you and not just for Valentine’s Day, but for the entire relationship.

Remember that song? If not here it is “Check Yes or No”. The idea here is to set your honey back to the time when you first met. Did you meet when you were younger? Highschool sweethearts? Well this is the perfect gesture. When you are together, alone, play this song and dance around the living room. Remember the cute little memories that you have together, when you first met.

More Than a Honey-Do

There are some couples that have honey-do lists. For those of you who do not know what one is, it is a list of things that you need your honey to do. If this is the case, why not make it special one day with no chores, but honey-whatever-you-want-to-do. Write a list of suggestions and watch their face light up.

The Dating Scene

Okay, this is good, even for those of you who have moved past this stage. Do this for Valentine’s Day, but Valentine’s Day dinner doesn’t count. These are one of those days that this is a little exspected, but you will see what the point is here.

Perhaps you are married? If so, leave a note on the mirror and ask your honey out on a date that evening. Tell them that it is a surprise and take them to their favorite place. This will surely take them by surprise.

Thank You Notes and Gestures

When someone does something for you, you automatically want to thank them for it. Ok, this is very true when it comes to complete strangers, for the most part. When it comes to the ones that we love the most, it seems that we kind of “think” that they are appreciated, simply because you are with them. If you didn’t appreciate them, you wouldn’t be with them. This is some of our mentality.

Well, it isn’t true. People love to feel appreciated. Most especially if they do something extra special for someone. You should want to thank those that you love the most, especially. If you don’t know how to, perhaps another article will help with that.

Beyond Valentine’s Day, your relationship should be important. Add something special to keep the love alive and your relationship happy.
